RED-WINGED BLACKBIRD - Agelaius phoeniceus
North America
Itís one of the most common songbirds in North America and also one of the most daringly colorful. It is often seen at the top of the typha (Typha latifolia), at the wet edges of the roads and on the telephone cables. Dimensions: 17-23 cm. Wingspan: 31-40 cm.
